About Us

SmileAge Initiative Trust

SmileAge Initiative Trust (SAI_T) pioneers Healthy Ageing in India through “Health Literacy as a Social Vaccine”, led by our distinguished team of national and international experts across diverse disciplines.

As a registered non-profit, we blend oral health, general health, and community empowerment to support well-being across all ages aligning with WHO’s definition of Healthy Ageing as maintaining functional ability for older age fulfillment.

Health Literacy as a social vaccine empowers people to make informed decisions, stay healthy, and prevent diseases. Beyond individuals, it builds resilient systems where shared wisdom becomes collective protection a social vaccine spreading safeguards through communities, families, and trusted networks.

When families share knowledge in plain language for example, the importance of daily oral hygiene for overall health or HPV vaccination (ages 9–12 for boys and girls to prevent seven types cancers) preventive behaviors multiply.

Informed communities multiply prevention, combat misinformation, cut healthcare costs, and promote healthier ageing.

We fuse innovation with empathy to meet tomorrow's community needs today.
